hiya! you can call me mackenzie (or cye, though i prefer mackenzie a bit)

i sit around and play video games and occasionally make stuff like this website

some things i enjoy:

• i love everything about electronics/technology/computers and such but especially history about it i find amusing
• i can do some simple programming in luau and python, and of course i'd like to get a better handle on html and other such web languages..... maybe
• i'd also like to work on electronics physically, as in repairing them and such
• cats are silly i love them they're so relatable..... i have one he's so sweet
• some genres of video game i like are puzzle games (like tetris/puyo puyo type puzzle), mania-style rhythm games (though i'm sure i'd like other types of rhythm games if i were to play them), and the genre that i'm gonna call "random 5 dollar game on steam that's stupid addictive" with examples being webfishing and nubby's number factory, though i know of some others i haven't played that seem like they'd fit that description too. and i play roblox too much lol
  recently i've been playing a lot of minecraft instead of roblox, i go into phases of playing either one a ton lol
  those are the more modern games i like, though most of my taste in video games is in silly old retro games. i have every nintendo home console minus the wii u (which i used to own), i have an everdrive for my N64 and have installed a picoloader in my gamecube, as well as softmodded my wii of course, and i've softmodded my switch as well. i love modding
  my favorite console in the nintendo line is currently the NES i'd say, simple high score based games are some of my favorites. i'd like to explore more of the NES' library, though i don't have an everdrive for it yet so i'm stuck with a few cartridges i got with it
• my music taste is the stereotypical transfem music taste, i like electronic stuff and hyperpop adjacent stuff, as well as 2000s/2010s pop that i suppose i'm nostalgic for already lol
  i also love most every type of rock, rock is awesome
  some genres i hate are country and christian music, they're both generic soulless genres. they have nothing to write about other than "trucks and beer" and "jesus" which i guess people have said similar things about pop but i think there's a bit more variety in pop..... it's not the same slow boring bpm and samples every song like country is and not well..... terrible like christian music is i don't think that needs explanation lol
  i haven't listened to much newer pop music (like 2020s) i don't think, maybe pop music has gotten worse or something and i'm oblivious to that but i find pop music enjoyable lol
